Installing E-Bike and E-Scooter Corrals in Nottingham

On behalf of Nottingham City Council, Trust Utility Management have been installing electric bike and scooter corrals throughout the city. These works are funded by the Department for Transport's "Transforming Cities" initiative, aiming to reduce the city's carbon footprint.

Trust have provided a dedicated team to Nottingham City Council to deliver 150 corral installations within a 6 month period. A further 125 corrals are planned, to encourage more people to use e-bikes and e-scooters for short journeys around Nottingham.

Since Nottingham's e-scooter trial started in 2020, the scooters have been used to travel over 4 million miles in the city. Lime e-bikes were introduced in 2023, and over 130,000 rides have been recorded. Trust Utility Management are proud to be part of Nottingham City Council's ambition to create innovative, eco-friendly transport solutions and look forward to completing the remaining corral installations in the coming months.
